Project Scope

  • To consider the way Security reports to Campus Services including operational management
  • Review the role of Security. Warden, policing and threat response need to be more customer facing, pastoral and proactive
  • Review the changing role of Campus Services in respect of residences and contract with UPP as the service provider
  • Review how security can become more customer focused including areas such as receptions, ambassador roles in dealing with students, staff and visitors
  • Evaluate the introduction of technology and the likely impact of its use on the operation and management of the car parking and the planned closure of one of the university’s sites

Project Detail

The University’s Security Services team provide security patrols, surveillance and emergency response for all University property. Coretex were commissioned to carry out a review of the Services.
