Building FM and Real Estate Capabilities

About Us

Coretex – a brief history

Coretex International was borne following a management buy-out of the Real Estate and Facility Management consulting and training division of Strategic Direction (Est 1991) by Gordon Parker in 2007. We help clients understand their challenges, think ahead and plan a better future for themselves – to manage risks, build capability and improve performance.

  • We engage to understand and explore.  Listening is more important than telling in this phase.
  • We capture the requirement, our analysis and proposals in a format that works for the client; reports and presentations suited to the audience.
  • We have a reputation for telling clients what they NEED to know, rather than what they WANT to hear.
  • We build momentum for change management within the client organisation utilising excellent, proven processes and highly competent consultants.
  • An important part of our business success is that our clients refer us to other clients in similar challenging situations.

Coretex delivers services direct to end user clients.  We use the best resources available in the marketplace to support our consulting team (see also the Coretex Consortium, below).

The Coretex Consortium

The Coretex Consortium was created in 2019 in response to a major client opportunity.  The Consortium is a formal alliance of six consultancy companies that together provide a broad base of experience, capability, quality and management of risk to support clients that need diversity and ‘strength in depth’.  Coretex International Limited is the Consortium Lead in terms of developing solutions, integrating services, and contracting with clients for each Project.  The most suitable person from across the consortium is selected to be the technical lead for each project, with Cortex retaining oversight on behalf of the client and the consortium.

Each partner in the consortium has a specialism and provides complimentary skills that allow them to work as an allay with other partners on assignments.

Example project services delivered by the consortium include:

  • Campus Vision
  • Estate strategy/ financial modelling
  • Business case development
  • Estate analysis tool
  • Global performance assurance benchmarking
  • Benchmarking Strategy, process and best practice model
  • Service Quality review and KPI model development
